The SMART goals system is reliable, solid and easy to use. Each goal must be defined according to these criteria:

  • M – Measurable
  • A – Achievable
  • R – Realistic

Your goals need to be concise and concrete. You will need specific goals, goals that are attainable. Instead of “I want to make more money this year”, you’ll want to say “I want to increase my revenue by X%, from X to Y, within the next 12 months.”

Achievable, Realistic

You might think we are done now, but no. It is important that you take some time to reflect and review on your goals. You should do this as often as you feel it needs to be done.
